  5. Yes, it's another great STOSSER competetion.  Once again we're giving away 
  6. some  excellent goodies.   1st prize is a pile of commercial games and  we 
  7. also have a second prize this time of ten disks of P.D, and there's even a 
  8. third prize of 5 disks of STOS routines.   What do you have to do to enter 
  9. the  competetion you ask?.......  Easy.  simply fill in  the  questionaire

  15. It must be on disk though,  because i'd like to use one or two of them  in 
  16. future issues of STOSSER.   I've added a few questions from the last issue 
  17. as  a few people thought the last one was a little plain.   To  load  this 
  18. file  into  your wordprocessor,  the file you'll need is on  the  desktop
  19. somewhere under the FILLME.IN.   Simply fill it in and send it  to  me, 
  20. easy  or  what?.   You've got no excuse because you've got until  the  6th 
  21. June.

  61. Oooh... Timeworks! Its simply the best, for ease of use and for having 
  62. the most options of a DTP package. And it was free with a magazine!

  64. 11.BEST GAMES:
  65. 'Zool' is pretty good! Oh yeah, 'Oh No more lemmings' is great as well. 
  66. I still haven't completed that.

  68. 12.MOST USELESS HARDWARE:
  69. That stupid TRACEY thing. I bought one and they are utterly useless! 
  70. Still it only cost me £7.99

  72. (ed.  I'll make you sick now Chris, it was given away on the front cover 
  73. of one of the Amiga mags once, and it was only a quid.  Even then i still
  74. reckon it was a waste of money).

  76. 13.MOST USELESS SOFTWARE:
  77. ST Basic!!! (You've got to admit it, it was excellent wasn't it!)

  79. 14.MOST DESIRED HARDWARE:
  80. A Dell PC Netplex network, with at least 4 computers linked in. I want to 
  81. write a version of the Laplink program for the PC.

  83. 15.LIKES:
  84. Oh, loads of things! Computers, STOS BASIC!!!!. The Cellnet phone I had 
  85. for christmas is pretty good, but it costs a fortune to run!  Loads of 
  86. others too, but I can't think of any, sorry!

  88. 16.DISLIKES:
  89. FaST Basic. I also don't like the fact that you can only have up to 16 
  90. sprites on screen at one time with STOS Basic. However, with the excellent 
  91. Missing Link extension, you can have any number of sprites!

  93. 17.FAVOURITE MUSIC:
  94. Dinosaur Jnr. Their best song is MISSING LINK (really!). Its really good.

  100. I don't really like RAVE. Sorry to any ravers out there, but I don't 
  101. really like your music.

  104. 2 Unlimited - No limit. There just isn't a tune in that song.

  106. 21.FAVOURITE TV:
  107. Thats got to be 'The Bill', which is on U.K. Gold on satellite t.v. at 10 
  108. p.m. every monday to friday! Its that sort of program where no matter 
  109. what they do, its still exciting, even if all they are doing is just 
  110. talking, and walking around a bit, somehow its still really good!

  112. 22. WORST TV:
  113. Coronation Street. I just can't see what all the fuss is about.

  115. 23. BEST FILMS:
  116. Jurassic park. I thought it was really good, but I know a lot of people 
  117. thought it was boring. The special effects were probably the best i've 
  118. ever seen, and you've got to admit it haven't you, the effects were of a 
  119. kind that have never been seen before.

  121. 24. WORST FILMS:
  122. That one with Madonna that just goes straight from the courtroom to the 
  123. bedroom and back to the courtroom. There wasn't any story to that, and 
  124. it was just an excuse for Madonna to 'get em out' on t.v!

  128. 25. BEST GRUB:
  129. Tofu Pizza! Its the best! Have you ever tried it? It is the SPAR shop's 
  130. own make, and I think you can get it in any SPAR shop around the country.

  132. 26. WORST GRUB:
  133. Oh, this has to be 'Lima bean ice cream', because its absolutely foul! Its 
  134. like drinking sewage (not that I've ever drunk sewage, but its what I 
  135. imagine sewage to be like!).

  137. 27. BEST DRINKS:
  138. Pepsi. Don't you just love the buzz it gives you, first thing in the 
  139. morning? Loads of caffeine you see!

  141. 28. WORST DRINKS:
  142. Coffee and Tea. Wow, these really are disgusting.

  144. 29. MOST ADMIRED PERSONS:
  145. Jeff Minter,because he's a really good programmer, and D.I. Burnside from 
  146. 'The Bill', simply because he knows what he wants and he gets it (well, 
  147. did, until he was killed off, anyway!).

  150. John Major (I wonder how many other people will put this?).

  154. 31.AMBITION IN LIFE:
  155. To finish my college course, even though my college bag with all my work 
  156. in was nicked from my house, and to get a really great job in the 
  157. programming world.

  159. NOW TELL US A FEW BREIF BITS AND BOBS ABOUT YOURSELF:
  160. I program commercially for the Atari ST, and write programs for the
  161. Powerfist Licenceware range. I have just starting coding a project called
  162. 'SCAFFY' with Ian Wilkinson, and we hope to have it finished sometime in 
  163. the new year.
  164. I have just ordered a Falcon 030, and can't wait to see what it is like. 
  165. It should be good to program on anyway!
  166. I am also putting the finishing touches to the Awesome Message scroller,
  167. which is a message scroller program which has the option of displaying a
  168. picture on screen, while the message floats past, and it can also play 
  169. any piece of chip music too, no matter was the music offset is.
